Sony’s Playstation Now streaming service now includes PS4 games

Game subscription services now look like they’re here to stay, & Sony’s PlayStation Now just got an exciting update: The first PS4 games on the service are now available to play. The debut list includes 24 games that originally came out on PS4, bringing PS Now to the contemporary console era of games releases for the first time.

The games list includes quite a few smaller releases & some remasters, like God of War 3 Remastered, but though it may be humble beginnings, it’s also a good sign that Sony intends to keep investing in the service & bringing more recent iconic titles to member. Skyrim is coming to the PlayStation VR

Bethesda has been getting its money out of that whole Skyrim thing.

Today at Sony’s E3 2017 press conference, the studio announced it would be rereleasing Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim on PlayStation VR this November.

The company already announced yesterday that it was bringing the title to Nintendo Switch later this year.

With Bethesda bringing titles like Skyrim, Fallout & Doom to VR, one might wonder why there hasn’t been any love for the Oculus Rift while titles have been announced for both the PlayStation VR & HTC Vive. PlayStation 4 owners report corrupted data with System Update 4.70

Sony recently released a new System Software Update for the PlayStation 4 that was intended to bring new icons and more stability, however, it appears to have destabilized some PlayStation consoles.

PlayStation 4 owners are reporting that updating to version 4.70 is tricky at best. The update has allegedly nearly bricked multiple PlayStation 4 consoles, as well as brought some corrupted data errors to others. Of course, the issue is not widespread – so it’s tough to say what is causing it.
